On the morning of July 18, 2007 we lost another great Black man: Sekou Sundiata.

It’s sad but until I heard about his passing, I never really delved that deep into his poetry. Watch his Def Poetry Jam performance – so fierce!

People with his spirit, mentality and courage don’t come around too often.
