“Dreaming Identities” Show Curated by Deborah Willis at Arnika Dawkins Gallery During ACP Photo Festival

“Wisdom” by Linda Foard Roberts

Arnika Dawkins Gallery is pleased to announce that it will be participating in Atlanta Celebrates Photography festival, with an exhibition entitled Dreaming Identities. Ten noted female fine art photographers have contributed forty works to Dreaming Identities, to be exhibited during Atlanta’s annual arts festival.
The exhibition will include a wide range of imagery exploring topics such as memory, family, culture, and history. It also reflects personal and social experiences of each of the featured artists and explores themes from dream sequences to the notion of lineage. Each artist will highlight their aesthetic and personal interests viewed through the curatorial lens of photography educator and scholar Deborah Willis.

The exhibiting artists include Jeanne Moutoussamy-Ashe, Sheila Pree Bright, Delphine Fawundu, Susan kae Grant, Nashormeh Lindo, Lynn Marshall Linnemeier, Linda Foard Roberts, Susan Ross, Carla Williams and Cheryl Younger. This exhibit will engage local and international art communities with images that merge aesthetic, journalistic and narrative photographs.
